The UK applies for an extended coverage of the New York Convention for the British Virgin Islands
On 24 February 2014 the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has made a territorial application to the Secretary-General of the United Nations to have the New York Convention extended to the British Virgin Islands. The notification should take effect on 25 May 2014, in accordance with article X(2) of the Convention.
