The 2020 Judicial Policy Research Institute (JPRI) International Conference is co-organised by JPRI, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT). Held under the theme “International Commercial Litigation: Recent Developments and Future Challenges,” the 2-day event comprises six sessions.
Session 5, which is entitled “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards and Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation”, will be moderated by Anna Joubin-Bret, Secretary of UNCITRAL. During that session, Yas Banifatemi (Shearman & Sterling) will present the UNCITRAL Secretariat Guide on the New York Convention and its online platform, the newyorkconvention1958.org website. Please note that Session 5 will take place from 3h10 pm KST (7h10 am CET / 1h10 am EST).
The event will be publicly and entirely livestreamed on the JPRI YouTube channel (no registration needed).
The Conference is sponsored by the Korean Bar Association, Korea International Trade Law Association, Korea Private International Law Association, Association of Judges for International Commercial Law Studies.
