New State Party to the New York Convention: Maldives
With its accession to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, effected on 17 September 2019, the Maldives becomes the 161st State party to the Convention. The Convention will enter into force for the Maldives on 16 December 2019.
