
V International Arbitration Readings. New York Convention: 60-year Story of Success
To businesses, law firms, individual lawyers, trade and industry associations, international organizations, state authorities those professional interests include international commerce, private law and arbitration.
On 4 October 2018 the International Commercial Arbitration Court (the ICAC) and the Maritime Arbitration Commission (the UMAC) at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry under auspices of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) will host the V International Arbitration Readings in memory of Academician Igor Pobirchenko (the Readings).
This year the Readings will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (1958) which unites 159 state members. Taking into account this fact the organizers of the Readings decided to dedicate the V International Arbitration Reading to the topic:
