Domestic Court with jurisdiction over recognition and enforcement of foreign award |
For the recognition of foreign awards, the Commercial Superior Chamber or, if such commercial chamber does not exist, the Civil Superior Chamber where the defendant resides or, if the defendant’s domicile is not within the Peruvian territory, that of the place where the defendant’s assets are located or where the defendant exercise its rights. For the enforcement of duly recognized foreign awards, the commercial judge or, if such commercial judge does not exist, the civil judge of the defendant’s domicile, or if the defendant’s residence is not within the Peruvian territory, that of the place where the defendant’s assets are located or the place where the defendant exercises its rights. |
